*** A three-tiered on-site support structure insures effective technology transfer: "hands on" topical workshops, unit or project focused practice, and direct classroom assistance. Consulting sessions include a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and individual learning. Supplementary information is available via email and Web site. Training is scheduled to meet near-term and immediate classroom needs in order to increase retention of new skills. Just-enough training (JET) serves to increase comfort level with relevant technology, address shortfalls in resources, demonstrate what's possible, and assist lesson planning. Just-in-time training (JITT) serves to support in-class instruction and troubleshooting. General information engineering services: planning, proposal writing, analysis, training, troubleshooting. Leveraging options: existing student expertise, student teams, selected use of low-tech and high-tech capabilities, interdisciplinary collaboration.
