Code of Conduct
SUBJECT: 6th Grade Math
TEACHER: Mr. Healy
The students in my class are expected to follow all Culver City Middle School guidelines and their Student Team rules.
Class Rules
- Come prepared to work (bring materials & notebook)
- Follow all directions
- Respect others -- keep your hands & feet to yourself
- Use appropriate language
- No food, drinks, or gum
- At end-of-period bell wait for my dismissal
Consequences
Order of actions depends on type of infraction, severity, frequency, and prior behavior.
- Verbal warning
- Loss of P.A.T. time
- Timeout (inside or outside classroom)
- Detention and parent phone call
- Referral room and parent phone call
- In school suspension and parent phone call
- Parent conference (parents, teachers, student)
- Action by counselor or assistant principal
- Student Study Team case
- Home suspension
- Expulsion
Severe Clause (immediate referral likely)
- Defiance
- Fighting
- Stealing, destroying, or defacing school or another student's property
Substitute Teachers
A substitute teacher deserves to be treated with the same respect as any regular teacher. The consequences for misbehaving while a substitute teacher is in the room are explained in the Student Team rules.
