Code of Conduct

SUBJECT: 6th Grade Math
TEACHER: Mr. Healy

The students in my class are expected to follow all Culver City Middle School guidelines and their Student Team rules.

Class Rules

  1. Come prepared to work (bring materials & notebook)
  2. Follow all directions
  3. Respect others -- keep your hands & feet to yourself
  4. Use appropriate language
  5. No food, drinks, or gum
  6. At end-of-period bell wait for my dismissal

Consequences

Order of actions depends on type of infraction, severity, frequency, and prior behavior.
  1. Verbal warning
  2. Loss of P.A.T. time
  3. Timeout (inside or outside classroom)
  4. Detention and parent phone call
  5. Referral room and parent phone call
  6. In school suspension and parent phone call
  7. Parent conference (parents, teachers, student)
  8. Action by counselor or assistant principal
  9. Student Study Team case
  10. Home suspension
  11. Expulsion

Severe Clause (immediate referral likely)

Substitute Teachers

A substitute teacher deserves to be treated with the same respect as any regular teacher. The consequences for misbehaving while a substitute teacher is in the room are explained in the Student Team rules.
